The reason the cap of the sprite bottle in the work fridge is always really hard to unscrew is not because someone has excessively tightened it, but because the sprite in the cap has evaporated and left hard and sticky sugar.

Actually, I had that with a soda water bottle.
The soda water bottle is since gone, although I did get the cap off. We needed to throw some things out of the fridge.
