Blatant sarcasm at it's best

I didn’t.

I didn’t spend $7,000 last week and I definitely didn’t order a 24″ dell lcd screen and 2.66GHz Mac Pro. I also didn’t order the X1900 XT upgrade option and the Airport Express and Bluetooth modules while I was wasn’t at it.

It hasn’t been done, and I am now not poor.

And while I’m at it, I didn’t start a game ideas wiki and I haven’t been slowly filling it with information and that’s not why I haven’t posted in a while.

Actually it’s not, I’ve just been quite busy with Uni and work (I’m working mondays now). I do believe that’s the longest I’ve kept up a mock sarcasm ever.

Two assignments due this week!

That’s not sarcasm. Irony, at best. And you made a mistake: “…modules while I wasn’t at it…”

That sounds like a mean machine. And hey, count yourself lucky you had $7000 to blow on a new mac in the first place. I’ve only managed to earn myself $200 USD.

    Very true, it is irony.

I do realise that the ‘wasn’t’ is breaking the logic, but there just weren’t enough negatives in that sentence so I had to add it. I guess I could have looked for a place to add another negative to fix it.

I don’t know what you mean by ‘in the first place’, you are making it out that spending $7,000 on a computer is a bad thing… oh wait, it kinda is. I guess I am lucky, but then again I did work for quite a few months over the first half of the year. All for this.

Reasoning (to make myself feel better):

My current computer is nearly 4 years old and I work in the computer industry.
My current computer isn’t well (few niggles.)
I’ve missed out on a lot of PC games over the last decade.
Big screens make you more productive (Pfeiffer consulting says so)
I’ve completely used my current computer in almost any and all ways imaginable and I believe it’s starting to slow me down.
    Two computers will be great.
It will be great having a computer serving files everywhere.

Anyway, I still feel like I’ve done the wrong thing, but hopefully that will pass.

Although I did just spend %15 of my yearly income if I was working full time - before tax even.
