Ah right, so blogging…
I’m back at uni for this semester. I feel that I should finish my degree with upmost urgency so I can get on with other things. Working has given me enough motivation to continue and hopefully apply myself and do well.
I’ve been working a bit on voodoo, some nights after work but not as much as I hoped. I’ve left the virtual machine for a little while and I’ve written a ‘meta parser’ that just parses the classes, interfaces, states and their methods and properties. This generates some xml which I’m about to load up in the virtual machine and check to see if it links and is working from that perspective. Then I will either work some more on the vm making it more complete, or do some more work on the compiler actually parsing the code this time.
While I’m writing this I realise that my chair sucks. It was cheap from the warehouse and has terrible back support. Unfortunately I don’t know what to do as I’m now a student and can’t really spash out on an expensive chair.
Our hot water cynlinder is fu fu. I’m not sure what’s up, all I know is no hot water comes out anymore. I’ve emailed the landlord, but haven’t received a reply yet. Time to phone.
I am addicted to Juicies. Expecially the apple ones.
I upgraded my 120gb external to a 300gb external. It’s been full since I bought it.
I found Chang’s Blog, not sure if I knew about it before, but it’s now linked. Also Alex has just integrated wordpress into his website very easily as I understand.
Woohoo. Good job on getting back to blogging.
Italy in the world cup finals! Yay
Congratulations! We had a office bet, but all my teams were eliminated.
Yeah it’s surprising how much work takes out of you. I haven’t been working for 4 days and already I feel much better. More free time to blog!
You can afford a 300gb external hard drive but not a chair? I see you have your priorities right ;).
That was ages ago when I started working and I had lots of money. Smarty Pants.
I totally didn’t realise the whole technorati ping in WordPress. Funny. Anyway, I’m happy with WordPress (and K2) so I’m going to move the installation up a directory and use it as my CMS.
Very good. Pants.
CMS powers ignite. Heh.
We should see if we can modify ignite to use wordpress, or modify wordpress to use ignite. We of course would need to release the modified wordpress source, but other than that we would be cool.
Indeed. It would be very possible to use the Wordpress themes (or maybe even engine) for templating, I’m sure there is an easy way to use Wordpress to module dispatch too, I think all it’d need was a line at the bottom of the .htaccess dispatching everything not caught by wordpress to the ignite core but I wonder if there are any better integrations possible, maybe admin side integration.
I just registered a new domain name too, for my personal use, I’ll set it all up first and then tell you it.
