Desktop

This is really just a test to see if an image looks good in this blog… if it does I will try to use them more often.

This is my desktop for all those who are interested. Here is where I start off the day. Notable features are Menu Meters, Desktop Manager and Photo Desktop (not currently enabled).

Edit: Another desktop from a random game

It always strikes me how much more style macs have. Although I don’t see what’s so good about that background…

Still, I’m pretty well set up with a random desktop chosen from a bunch of terragen renders and a few abstract geeky pics. In fact, I also have a slightly matrix teh haxor backdrop that appears whenever I log off. Only works cause windows is so bugy, but it’s still cool. I have my bro to thank for all that though, he wrote the active desktop. Not bad considering he’d never used java script before.

Yeah I have 1.2gb of desktop pictures, I change my desktop more often than my clothes. At the moment I’m into macro photos, I think they are quite neat. I quite like that background, it’s simple, pleasing on the eye, not distracting, it’s got a nice blur going on… each to their own I guess.

I used to have a random desktop setup, but it didn’t choose the ones I wanted, and it’s a little hard to get it to do what you want in OS X, so I just change it manually.

    Bit quiet here lately…

1.2gb? Impressive… Please tell me they’re all bitmaps or something :P. Will you accept the excuse that I made half of mine myself? I like the 2nd one btw. What game is that?

    Not bitmaps…

The game is to be released by the developers of Reality Engine and is called Monster Madness.

The actual game doesn’t look or sound as cool, but that level design and the graphics rock.

Oh yeah, and it’s quiet because I’m doing stuff and don’t have anything to post, uni is over for the year and the other people aren’t posting I guess.
